CORSICA
Corsica's coasts, high and fretted in the west, and low and sandy in the east, hold some of Mediterranean most spectacular scenarios. In the north-western area the sea deeply penetrates the coast creating bays that remind fiord. Its rocks, eroded by the wind, rain and sea, have assumed incredible shapes and colours. But Corsica isn't just landscape, it also offers typical villages, with their characteristical stone architecture.
